The streamlined 40mm rim slices through the air, with minimal drag; it is also the lightest in its category. The new laminate makes each rim 40g lighter. As the spokes are anchored without drilling the upper bridge, there is no need for rim tape, which means additional weight reduction (30 g), and less hassle when it comes to mounting or repairing tubeless tires.
With the new profile of the upper bridge of the rim, mounting and demounting a tire has never been so easy. With the UST Tubeless system, no inner tube, no friction; and a larger volume of air promises a smoother ride. The result: increased speed, with greatly reduced rolling resistance. The icing on the cake, our patented elliptical spokes, to save even more energy.
